The numbers of arrests by district were: Kona, 10; Puna, nine; and South Hilo, six.
So far this year, there have been 25 DUI arrests compared to 21 during the same period last year, an increase of 19 percent.
There have been 26 major accidents so far this year compared to 31 during the same period last year, a decrease of 16.1 percent.
So far this year, there have been two fatal crashes on Hawaii Island, resulting in two fatalities, compared to no fatal crashes during the same period last year.
DUI roadblocks and patrols will continue islandwide, police said.
